Kapondo Christian Center

God provides a safe place for us, a place of protection and help where we confess our sins and find forgiveness. In the language of the founders, this is “Kapondo.”

Kapondo Christian Centre (KCC) is a non-profit Christian organization that supports the training of Christians with a view to enhancing the dissemination of the Gospel of Christ. It targets leaders are from churches, communities, business, and the youth. Additionally, the centre offers an environment to pray, reflect, and worship God.

What to Expect?

The Centre has infrastructure, equipment, materials, systems, and procedures that create an inviting environment necessary for its activities. There is a meetings hall, dormitories, kitchens, and dining facilities, and staff quarters and offices.

The inviting forest environment also offers room for patrons wishing to pitch and live in private tents, and the emerging prayer path and quiet spots on the hill the ultimate prayer setting.

What We Believe

Ministry Development

In response to our Lord’s instruction at the Great Commission to spread the gospel to all the nations of the world, this objective aims to support the strengthening of the capacity of Christians to propagate the gospel of and faith in Christ. So, we promote the training and mentoring of Christians to deepen their understanding of the Word of God and their capacity to disseminate it.

Information Communication and Technology Services

We use digital applications to create, process, transmit, store, and disseminate information by electronic media as a means of promoting of evangelization, Christian instruction, and other education. So, we prepare and disseminate the gospel and related information, and provide counselling and spiritual guidance. We share information using flyers, emails, blogs, broadcast, and other social media.

Suitable environment for the delivery of Christian services.

The Centre is situated in the middle of twenty-acres of a managed forest of cypress trees on the top of a hill overlooking of the Lake Victoria. The grounds with crunchy dry leaves, whistling cool and gentle winds through the trees, and a continuous mild chirping of birds and crickets offer a serene and soothing environment for self-introspection and reflection.

The KCC is a company “limited by guarantee” under the Uganda’s Company’s Act. It has a general assembly made up of the founding members, a board of directors appointed by the general assembly, and a team of management staff appointed by the board of directors.
